Freestyle Divers

I only recently discovered Freestyle Divers based at the Royal Beach Hotel in Dibba, Fujairah, UAE, but so far I am very impressed. Their beachside location makes for quick trips to places like Dibba Rock and Artificial reef located just in front of the hotel. Other Eastcoast trips are 20-30 min away by boat.

All of the staff including Marine Owen (Managing Director), Laurent Estrugo (Course Director), Turk (Office Manager), Chris (MSDT) and all the freelance instructors are professional and extremely friendly. They area always willing to share an experience or give tips on improving your technique. They are also a Tec Diving Center and would be a great place to try out Tec Diving or to join their Tea Dives if you’re already qualified.

They have a very cool setup with a thatch roofed area next to beach with benches, tables, rinse tanks, and drying racks for all your setup needs. The boat picks you up on the beach for a quick trip to the dive site. After your dive, the boat returns to the beach for your surface interval and a snack on the beach where you will more than likely spot turtles in the surf!

They have dives pretty much every day and can usually accommodate your request. Fridays and Saturday can be busy, but they have a boat leaving the beach every hour or 2 from 9am. They also offer trips on the Musandam Peninsula, but you have to book by Tuesday for the weekend to allow for the border crossing paperwork processing.
